Liquidshop 6 is the sixth edition of a workshop about Liquidsoap and related technologies. The goal is to gather everyone interested in Liquidsoap (of course) and welcome any contribution, whether related to Liquidsoap or not.
We are particularly eager to learn how people in the community do radio, media streaming, and more, and to hear about specific tools or workflows that we could, in turn, use to improve how Liquidsoap works. We also love meeting people involved with these technologies: community radio stations, non-profits, budding startups, more established businesses, art projects, installations, and more!
Topics of interest include, for instance:
- audio and video streaming
- radio broadcasting
- signal processing
- audio and video synthesis
- website interaction
- community projects
- creative art and art installations
- and so on
This is the place to share your favorite or cutting-edge technologies and projects with the world!
It will be held on Friday, 29 May 2026. Feel free to register to attend or propose a talk!
Attending
The event is fully online at bbb.liquidsoap.info.
Presentations
Three kinds of presentations will be featured during the workshop:

- tech talks (30 min): an in-depth presentation of a technology related to Liquidsoap and streaming in general
- workshop: user-centered, freeform discussions about your project or issues around Liquidsoap and streaming

Abstracts
Romain Beauxis: Liquidsoap 2.5.x: What’s New / slides
Latest news about Liquidsoap.
Matthew Hine: Station Manager 2 - Configurable Automated Netradio / slides
Using Liquidsoap’s tools to create flexible, scheduled, multi-show, playlist-driven netradio stations that are customized entirely through json configuration files.
Attila Györffy: Do you know what’s actually on air? End-to-end testing for Liquidsoap radio pipelines / slides
This talk presents a practical approach to end-to-end testing for Liquidsoap-based radio pipelines, focusing on how to verify what listeners actually hear rather than relying only on metadata or event-level assertions. It will cover the motivation, method, and lessons learned from testing real stream output.
Seva Mikulski: Mikulski_24/7: original music video playlist + live
My simple but effective setup, created with no programming experience (well, almost).
Tony Miller: HLS streaming with Liquidsoap
How we implemented rtmp streaming with liquidsoap and kept backwards compatibility with icecast clients.
Vladimir Lemus: Radio autómata (automaton radio) a future science and community radio station / slides
For almost three years, with a few isolated transmissions during pandemia, “radio autómata” is an internet radio station initially created to support online courses. The attempts weren’t succesufull, but we are trying new ideas to become a community radio around science and education. We’ll present how it’s working at the moment and the future plans.
Sheroi Barclay: KPISS new location + remote training
We will be explaining our new space and our mission for the community both in the know and new people.
